Zidane issues warning to Real Madrid star over poor display

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has issued warnings to Real Madrid superstar over poor display during his last outing for the La Liga Champions, according to ESPN .

Zidane has told Gareth Bale that he “wants more” from the former Tottenham forward.
Bale endured a difficult season last term due to injuries and that has heaped pressure on the Wales international and it is left for Bale to convince the Bernabeu faithful to support him once again.
This comes after the 28-year-old was booed by his own fans during a marketing event on Friday for not speaking Spanish.

Zidane admitted in a press conference that it will take time for Bale to reach his peak form once again:

“He had four months out of the team, and to return to his best level he will need four more months at least. We must give him time, and we are happy with him.”
He backed the Welshman to find his form of previous years again, stating:

“We want more from him on the pitch, he does too, but he will be very good very soon, for sure.”
Real Madrid has drawn their last two games and they are seven points behind arch-rivals, Barcelona at the moment.
The away game to Real Sociedad is a must-win game for Real Madrid if they want to keep compete for the La Liga this season as they linger down in 11th position in the standings.

Zidane faces a selection headache after Toni Kroos and Jesus Vallejo missed training on Saturday due to injury with Karim Benzema and Mateo Kovacic already sidelined with hamstring problems.
